The Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL), in partnership with Capital Sports Management Inc., is pleased to announce the 6th Annual CCHL Goaltender Evaluation Camp taking place at the Bell Sensplex.
The goal of this camp is to provide Midget and Junior aged goalies with individual skill assessment in a camp format that also features skill development from elite-level instructors.
The 2018 CCHL Goaltender Evaluation Camp provides goalies with an unique opportunity to showcase their individual skills to representatives from all twelve CCHL teams. With three hours of on-ice instruction per day, goaltenders will have the opportunity to hone skills in sessions led by qualified CCHL goaltending instructors. All on-ice evaluation will be conducted by CCHL team representatives.
In order to participate in the 2018 CCHL Main Prospects Camp, goaltenders must attend the CCHL Goalie Evaluation Camp. At the conclusion of the camp, top-performing participants will be invited to register for the Main Prospects Camp at a reduced cost.
Each player will also attend seminars throughout the weekend, outlining the draft, the ability of Junior A to act as a stepping-stone for one’s playing career, and the importance of education when moving into junior hockey.
The 2018 CCHL Goaltender Evaluation Camp takes place April 7 & 8, 2018 at the Richcraft Sensplex in Gloucester.
The cost of the camp is $270 which includes:
- Four on-ice sessions, each lasting 1.5 hours with instruction & evaluation components
- Skill assessment and evaluation by CCHL team representatives
- The chance to participate in the CCHL Main Prospect Camp if selected as a top-performing goaltender (entry into the camp will be discounted)
- Representatives from each CCHL team in attendance at the camp
- CCHL Camp jersey
Goaltenders must attend the CCHL Goalie Evaluation Camp in order to participate the 2018 CCHL Main Prospects Camp.
US PLAYERS: Please note that registration for out of country players will not be accepted any less than two weeks prior to the camp start date, due to the lengthy process required for form approval.
*Note: Please be aware that all registrations are subject to review prior to acceptance. You will be notified no later than two weeks prior to the camp should your registration be decline, in which case you will be refunded in full.
