Ottawa, ON – The Fred Page Cup Championship Game is set as the host Ottawa Jr Senators will take on QJHL champion Collège Français de Longueuil today at 4PM live from the Jim Durrell Recreation Complex in Ottawa.
The Jr Senators went a perfect 3-0-0 in round robin play, most recently defeating Longueuil Friday night in the shootout to advance directly to todays final. Longueuil took on MHL champion Edmundston last night in the tournament Semi-Finals and picked up a 5-1 victory to advance.
The two teams match-up extremely well with one another and if Friday nights game is any consolation, be prepared to witness another fast-paced skilled game tonight. Unlike Fridays game that had to be determined in the shootout, if there is a tie after regulation tonight, the game will continue in sudden death overtime until someone scores.
The Fred Page Cup champion will advance to Chilliwack, BC to play in the RBC Cup National Championships which run May 12-20.
