Ottawa 6, Brockville 2
Conor Smart’s three-point night (2G/1A) led the way as the Ottawa Jr. Senators downed the hometown Brockville Braves via 6-2 decision.
Elie Boulerice added a pair of assists for Ottawa (21-4-3), which is now 13 points clear of anybody in second place.
Tyson Kirkby and Nick Hawkins each tallied a goal and assist in the defeat for Brockville (15-12-1).
Smiths Falls 3, Nepean 0
Bradley Dobson stopped 33 shots and the duo of Michael Larose and Ryan Gibson each notched two points as the Smiths Falls Bears shut out the visiting Nepean Raiders 3-0.
The win was the fourth in five outings for Mark Grady’s Bears (10-14-3); the loss was the third in four for Nepean (10-14-1).
Veteran Kyle Dowdall had the other goal for Smiths Falls.
Hawkesbury 2, Cornwall 1 (OT)
Chris Smith scored the overtime winner as the Hawkesbury Hawks edged the Cornwall Colts in Alexandria on Friday night.
Goaltenders Matt Petizian (23/24) and Liam Lascelle (40/42) shone in the Hawks (16-8-0) and Colts (12-12-4) nets respectively.
Tommy Tanner opened the scoring for Ian MacInnis’s Colts, but Matt Gasuik’s goal with seven minutes left in regulation sent the game to overtime.
Rockland 5, Navan 2
Benjamin Pruneau exploded for four points (2G/2A) as the Rockland Nationals dumped the Navan Grads 5-2.
Mathieu Blanchette (1G/2A) and Antoine Leblanc (2A) also had stand-out nights for Dan Sauve’s Nats (14-13-2).
Captain Zach Salloum scored in the defeat for Navan (8-19-0).
