Commitment: Power signs with Division-I St. Lawrence University

Rockland, Ont. — The Central Canada Hockey League is pleased to announce that Rockland Nationals defenceman Jordan Power (Ottawa, Ont.) has committed to the NCAA’s St. Lawrence University.

Power, 16, currently leads all CCHL rookies in assists (11) and points (12), and has played a key role in the success of Dan Sauve’s Nationals team through the first third of the season.

The 6-foot-1 Rockland defenceman is also tied for third amongst league defencemen in powerplay assists (5).

Power, a 2001-born player,  is eighth overall in points by defencemen, sandwiched between fellow D-I commits Aidan Girduckis (’98, Robert Morris), Tim Theocharidis (’98, Bowling Green) and Zach Salloum (’97, R.I.T.).
