Chris Theodore commits to American International College

Ottawa, Ontario – The Central Canada Hockey League is proud to announce that Cornwall Colts forward, Chris Theodore, has committed with the American International College (AIC) Yellow Jackets NCAA Division I hockey team.

Theodore, 20, scored 16 goals while tallying 6 assists through 22 games before an upper body injury took Theodore out of the season.

“The injury happened at a tough time, staying focused on recovering and being positive was my main priority!” said Theodore on the injury.  “With the help of my family and people close to me I was able to remain positive.”

When asked on why he chose AIC, Theodore responded “I think AIC is a great opportunity for me. I really felt comfortable with the coaching staff and they have done an excellent job at turning around the program. I truly think that this program will continue to improve and will only get better in the next couple of years. Every setback is a setup for a comeback.”

Theodore will begin playing for the Yellow Jackets at the 2018-2019 season.
