Ottawa, Ontario – The Central Canada Hockey League is happy to announce that ‘98 Kanata Lasers defenseman Cameron Beaudry has committed to NCAA Division III Aurora University for the 2018-2019 season.

Beaudry, 19, started his CCHL career with the Pembroke Lumber Kings before ultimately being traded to the Kanata Lasers during the 2016-2017 season.

So far this year for the defenseman, he’s scored 1 goal and 6 assists over 39 games played with the Kanata Lasers.

“Aurora offers the Bachelor of Science which is a program I desire, the school & location feels right. Hockey wise the NCHA is very competitive and the hockey program is on its way to success so for me it’s the perfect fit.” said Beaudry on his decision to commit with Aurora.

Beaudry will be back on the ice for the Lasers on the 18th as they face the Nepean Raiders at home inside the Tom Flood Arena.
